“Dancing With the Stars” host Erin Andrews has settled her lawsuit against a Nashville, Tennessee, hotel where she was videotaped through a peephole by a stalker, her attorney said Monday visit this website.

“The litigation is over,” the lawyer, Randall L. Kinnard, told NBC News partner E! News. “Erin Andrews is satisfied with the settlement, and she was very courageous throughout this litigation.” Kinnard confirmed the agreement in a statement to The Tennessean newspaper of Nashville.

Andrews, who was a college football reporter for ESPN at the time, was secretly videotaped naked in her room at the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University in September 2008 by Michael David Barrett.

Barrett pleaded guilty to interstate stalking in 2010 and served more than two years in prison for having secretly filmed Andrews in Nashville and in Columbus, Ohio.

Last month, a Davidson County circuit court jury awarded Andrews $55 million in her joint suit against Barrett and the local franchise owner of the Nashville hotel. Jurors told NBC News last month that they hoped their decision would send a message that the hotel industry is accountable for guests’ privacy.
